I intend on doing this sort of look to an outdoor wooden table of mine, then once all the paint is dry, sealing it with a clear exterior grade food safe resin or sealer. I was thinking on how to go about this. Do I just put on paint, let it dry, then chip some of it off? Do I leave it in the sun and rain and let it get the weather from being in the weather? But I did decide on something much like what you're doing here. My plan is to make each individual plank of my wooden table a slightly different colour, then rough it up a little bit, before covering it with my clear sealer. I wouldn't worry about this step if it was going to be inside. Thank you for your inspiration and ideas :)

I really want to do the decoupage on furniture and blend paint I'm just not sure what Is the best budget friendly chalk paint for getting started. What to use for decoupage I've done small decoupage with mod podge but I don't think that's the best for furniture because the work time is not good and I'm not sure do I seal the decoupage before I blend paint when do you seal it. It's a lot of ?

I know that you posted this video so long ago but I am going for the carnival glass look on a makeup vanity. A regular size makeup vanity. I’m going with the peacock . I’m not to experienced when it comes to pain so is 8oz enough for a vanity? Also my vanity is smooth. This dresser is not if you know what I mean 😂 I can hear you painting it because of its texture. Do I still need the steel wool if my vanity is smooth?
